Teaching Assistant needed to support young people with Social and Emotional needs and a diagnosis of Mental Health needs. A specialist SEMH provision are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work with pupils with challenging behaviour, past trauma, social and emotional difficulties and mental health difficulties. The provision has a great team who are committed to ensuring the pupils get the most from their education. They provide a theraputic enviroment and a theraputic approach. A strong personality, a sense of humour, a theraputic approach and resillience are all needed for this post. This is a long term to permanent position to start as soon as possible. Full time: 08:30 - 15:40, Monday - Friday Teaching Assistant, Mental Health Support Work, Childcare or Youth Worker experience is essential, and you will need to be confident and have experience with managing behaviour that challenges.
