Job Description Hybrid Working - 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home Role & Responsibilities Carry out the implementation of Salesforce activity, ensuring coordination with key stakeholders across various teams Collaborating with the Junior Salesforce Administrator to validate business requirements and any system considerations (security, scalability, limits) Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organisation (Jitterbit, Event Case, Payment Gateway, etc) Best practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write/maintain test classes for all custom development Working within an Agile framework, take ownership of releases cycles to implement and deploy new/updates to existing application and code Custodian of Salesforce roadmap ensuring the platform continues to evolve Champion and deliver a consistent approach across Salesforce through planning between functions Specify, communicate, and measure against key Salesforce KPIs to drive improvements across performance Create, enhance, and maintain automations using flows and process builder Troubleshoot operational issues, plan process changes, and fix root causes for technical business problems Oversees Implementation of best practices around user account, and security of Salesforce platform Setup and run reports and dashboards when required by staff and management to provide relevant data Manage any unscheduled and scheduled downtime that the system may have. Communicate this out globally and ensure work around processes are being communicated and followed Line management of the Junior Salesforce Administrator, ensuring knowledge and enthusiasm continues to grow with the team Responsible for the overall maintenance and administration of our Production Org, sandboxes, and backups Prepare for any upgrades to Salesforce to ensure compatibility with existing configurations Manage the deployment of any upgrades to Salesforce to ensure compatibility with existing configurations Responsible for third party consultancy ensuring full commitment towards development best practices Second-line end-user support for Salesforce and other integrated apps, fixing escalated tickets as needed based on agreed SLA Utilising data from Jira to understand the type of enhancement or automation which could benefit the organisationSkills & Qualifications: A quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment, detail oriented and analytical Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects A proactive attitude to Salesforce enhancements and bringing existing code into best practices Certified Advanced Salesforce Administrator, Platform App, Developer Certified and Architect Certified. Accumulated and continuous learning via Trailhead 3+ years exposure to administrating Salesforce Knowledge of SOQL and Apex code Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio, Salesforce Lightning Design System, and the Salesforce development lifecycle Exposure to Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud in Lightning, and Enterprise Edition Exposure to Marketing Platform such as Pardot or Marketing Cloud is a plus Managing the platform with the ability to build custom objects, fields, workflows, process builders, and complex reports Exposure to the setup and maintenance of Salesforce interactions Knowledge of creating and analysing reports and visualisations General web development experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Benefits: Well-being bonuses such as a personal learning budget, yoga in the office, employee assistance programme and well-being champions Amazing social clubs and activities such as running club, book club and social sport Monthly drinks, social events, and awards nights 25 days annual leave + 1 extra day each year for your first 5 years with sabbatical options after 2 and 5 years
