We are looking for an experienced Learning & Development Team Manager to support our Business Services Tutors delivering Leadership and Management and Business Administration apprenticeships. Our learners include recruited apprentices to senior managers, largely from the public sector but also from a range of diverse national brand employers. You will be delivering our apprenticeship programmes through a blend of online and face to face learning at the employer s premises. Purpose of an Learning and Development Manager: Whilst working closely with HR and as part of the Operations Management team, the Team Manager is responsible for overseeing the day to day operational elements within their designated team. Duties and Responsibilities of a Learning and Development Manager Manage the timely achievement of any targets set of yourself and the team. Ensure that the Operations Director is well briefed on target achievement and any factors that could affect this. • Working closely with the quality team to ensure individuals and teams are compliant and quality standards are maintained. Ensure adequate briefing of any potential non-conformances. • Working with the Operations Manager, oversee resourcing to ensure quality and capacity is maintained to deliver an effective current and future operation. • Conduct caseload reviews with individuals in the team and ensure that all performance reviews take place in a timely manner. • Drive high performing teams through effective leadership and performance management, ensuring key performance indicators are in place and targets are met. • Work closely with HR to support in the recruitment and induction of new team members • Manage requests for leave ensuring sufficient resource to meet business needs. • Ensure operational compliance of your team and individual team members by adhering to company standards including IS0 9001 Quality procedures, Sequential Flow and Ofsted Education Inspection Framework. • Manage information by monitoring and analysing data to identify trends and produce accurate reports to measure performance and quality. Person Specification Learning and Development Manager Ensure your working practices aid towards maintain good working relationships with employers, learner s and staff. • Adhere to a policy of continuous improvement to raise all aspects of quality and performance in the provision for employers and learners. • To continually update professional knowledge and skills and acquire competencies to ensure your approach to your role adheres to the most recent developments current and future.
