Our client, a new and dynamic private mental health company have an exciting opportunity for a CQC Registered Practice Manager to join their team. This will be a predominantly remote role and would suit someone who is comfortable working flexibly and productively from home, offering a competitive salary plus benefits. You will play a key role in developing and managing the business. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the practice, providing day-to-day operational and administrative support for clinics. You will report to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for implementing and managing efficient processes and pathways, managing administrative staff and acting as a flexible administrative resource to actively support patients and clinicians to provide an exceptional level of service. Key Duties Provide day-to-day operational management of the practice, its staff, its patient booking and invoicing system, to ensure effective utilisation of appointments and revenue capture, establishing a culture of continuous business improvement. You will provide strong visible leadership, translating the company s strategic plans into defined operational plans. You will work with the Board of Directors and clinicians to develop effective business strategies. You will provide first point of contact for patients, relatives, GPs , Clinic staff and other professional bodies for written and telephone enquiries. Provide clinicians with a comprehensive range of administrative services including developing and supervising appointment systems that work well for patients and clinicians. Managing patient records and IT systems. Develop and manage positive relationships with patients, and effectively resolves customer complaints or concerns Handling financial systems for the practice, including budgets, billing and payroll. Recruiting, training and supervising administrative staff. Guiding the company through Care Quality Commission registration and developing systems to ensure the practice receives outstanding ratings from the CQC. Ensuring accurate records are kept. Enforcing industry and statutory standards (e.g. health and safety regulations) including those of the CQC and relevant professional bodies e.g. Royal College of Psychiatrists, General Medical Council and Health and Care Professions Council. Developing and monitoring business and administrative strategies and policies for the company. Organising duty rotas for medical and administrative staff. Setting goals and ensuring the practice achieves its financial objectives Ensuring all consulting rooms are booked and available, and all online appointments have been set up appropriately. Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews Work effectively as a team to make sure the practice runs smoothly Skills & Experience You will be a CQC registered manager. Proven work experience as a Practice Manager or similar role. Significant healthcare practice experience within private setting.Experience in a supervisory role managing staff. Strong sense of patient focus and delivering exceptional customer service in clinical settings. Basic secretarial and strong PA skills in a fast-paced environment. Experience in billing, raising invoices and collecting payment on patient accounts. Basic bookkeeping. Strong computer literacy. Excellent leadership and communication skills Excellent organisational skills Solid understanding of financial management Professional appearance Relevant training and/or certifications as a Practice Manager Salary £40,000 - £50,000 pro rata depending on experience This is a part-time, permanent position working between 15 to 22.5 hours per week (phone number removed)FTE). Remote working with some in person work as needed by the service in Central London. Benefits package: Contributory pension scheme.
