United Utilities has a huge asset base with well over a million assets across the North West, ensuring that our assets are available and in good working order is a critical to us providing a reliable and excellent service to our customers. The Maintenance Excellence programme aims to transform all areas of our maintenance operations from how we plan and schedule our work to our technicians to the tools, technology and techniques we equip our technicians with. To support the delivery of the Maintenance Excellence Improvement Plan we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to work via an umbrella company, hybrid working (so in Warrington for 1 day per week & in Stockport for 1 day per week). The role will involve documenting and analysing, requirements, systems, processes; identifying vulnerabilities; and collaborating with the MEIP team and wider key stakeholders to produce solutions by carrying out requirements gathering, documenting requirements and maintaining a Requirements Traceability Matrix, Process mapping, Gap analysis, Support with risk identification & Support testing - test script creation and User Acceptance Testing. What do you need? Working towards a recognised Business Analysis professional qualification, such as BCS Diploma in Business Analysis, IIBA or ISEB) with evidence of its practical application in the workplace. A good understanding of requirements identification, requirements life-cycle and requirement tracability. Knowledge of a range of business analysis techniques and able to select appropriate techniques for a given situation Confident leading and facilitating workshops with a range of stakeholders and levels.We'd love to hear from you if you are excited about joining a leading FTSE100 organisation at an exciting and challenging period of change.
