We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger to join a growing , privately owned wholesale business , in Aston , B6. Main duties for the Accounts Assistant /Purchase Ledger role : • Assist with the processing of a large volume of invoices for 2 Wholesale sites • Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any issues on outstanding invoices • Management of vendor queries via, phone, email • Processing credit notes • Notifying relevant departments of any Purchase Order discrepancies • Supplier statement reconciliation • Compiling invoices for the weekly payment run as well as filing • GRN matching • Ad-hoc duties Main requirements for the Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger role: • Minimum of 1 years experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger Function • Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing, you will have experience in maintaining good relationships with both internal stakeholders and with our external customers. • A proactive can-do approach • Attention to detail. • A desire to improve and refine processes • Aspiration to progress in your career The Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger will be reporting to the Finance Manage
